When we got back to San Jose, we rested up at Hotel Balmoral before heading out for souvenier shopping. Most of us went to the Central Market, which has a bunch of vendors selling a variety of stuff. After that, we walked to two different artisan markets where we all bought some souveniers. We were on our own to find a place for dinner. Some of us went back to the restaurant we ate lunch at on the first day since it was so good! This is where we saw on the news that the Turriabla Volcano had erupted earlier.
