The class traveled by boat from Punta Marencto Lodge to Sierpe.

Upon arrival in Sierpe the class visited a small restaurant and Parque las Esferas to see the ancient stone spheres.

The Boruca (Brunca) tribe is indigenous to Costa Rica.  Today they share their culture in multiple forms including the sale of tradional wooden masks.

To end the day, the class traveled up the mountains into the cloud forest, where they stayed at Finca Quetzales.
